UHAP Nearcraft

UHAP (Ultra High Altitude Platform) has been on the drawing board since Feb 2010 and several prototypes have been created.  The UHAP capsule is designed to be an ultra high altitude (120-130K feet) reusable payload system for photographic and atmospheric research.

The new platform is designed to automatically stabilize on all axes for more predictable imaging and sensor data.  The UHAP platform will eventually replace the current HSA design and likely carry on the HSA namesake after testing is complete.

The UHAP system should be online by December 2010,  with possible test flights sooner.  Check back for updates!
